True Religion: Bringing Out My American Rebel

Friday, July 24, 2015

I keep falling more and more in love with True Religion you guys...
Their clothes are the perfect balance of american classic, and rebel edge. Every piece is so
easy to incorporate into my wardrobe, & the quality ensures that I'll have it for some time to come.
I've always steered away from white denim personally, because.. well, I've got curves (obviously).
But I'm really in love with these, especially paired with a light blue chambray. It's such an
effortless combination, that just makes you feel so refreshed. I can't wait to wear these with a beat
up vintage tee & the chambray tied around the waist.. with some black moto booties of course!

Getting Blendy With LuliTonix

Thursday, July 9, 2015

Any of you who know me, know that I'm very passionate about organic, cleansing & finding
new nourishing, healthy drinks/brands to obsess over that encompass all that. Enter LuliTonix!
I've seen their cute packaging around instagram & have had them on my 'drinks to try' list for a bit.
A couple of weeks ago I attended The Seed: Positively Plant Based 2015 expo in Brooklyn.
It was basically one big vegan party of knowledge, yummy food, & new brands to discover for
like-mined individuals. Needless to say I was in heaven for 2 days, & high on inspiration.
Luckily while there, I stumbled upon the lovely ladies at the LuliTonix booth, tried so many
magical drinks, & basically started my healthy addiction to the brand right then and there.
With thanks to the babes at LuliTonix for hooking me up with a (huge) fix, I was able
to discover some amazing new flavors & combinations I've never had before.

So what's so different about Luli?! Their delicious beverages are blended, not pressed or squeezed!
A total twist on your average "juice cleanse". Easy to digest, sustains energy, keep blood sugar
in balance, quickly assimilated, full of vitamins, minerals, enzymes & bioavailable nutrients.
Not to mention, they are full of precious fiber, since you are getting the 'whole food' by the
blending process as apposed to juicing. LuliTonix beverages great to incorporate into your daily
diet, not just for a quick "cleanse". With free delivery in NYC & Brooklyn, nationwide shipping,
and a SoHo store about to open (you know where i'll be on my break), It's so easy to 'get blendy'!

Although the blended greens are what sparked the inspiration behind Luli,
they also carry some other goods, with new ones in the works! From elixirs, to chia potions,
to magic mylks- you are bound to fall in love over and over again.
For me, I went crazy for the Black Magic: Activated Charcoal Elixir!

Besides being obsessed with the name (duh!), this baby is so tasty and chock full
of benefits. The Black Magic is alkalizing, energizing, and also insanely refreshing
with it's zingy lemon punch. It's black coloring is a guaranteed conversation starter.
Plus you look kinda badass drinking it on the subway platform. Just sayin'!

If you're not familiar with activated charcoal & it's benefits yet, I highly suggest giving it a go
with this elixir. Activated charcoal is a absorptive and adsorptive agent that can extract and
neutralize toxins, heavy metals, poisons, chemicals, & gases thousands of times in it's own weight.
The detoxing agent leaves you feeling cleansed, focused, & rid of that drained feeling by healing
the body gently. It's also great to help with intestinal issues, hangovers, food poisoning and more.

Check out all of the products LuliTonix has to offer here, & prepare to get addicted!

Newest Obsession: Agnes & Norman

Monday, July 6, 2015

It would be cruel of me not to share my latest obsession of Agnes and Norman  shoes with you guys!
To say I'm obsessed with the UK based brand would be an understatement. Each pair is
inspired by a classic vintage style, and executed with pure attention to detail. From the
designs, to the quality, to the comfort- Agnes and Norman have me hooked.
These Hattie Antique Brogues are my absolute favorite right now. (I have a vintage
Bergdorf Goodman pair in the exact style, & they are nowhere nearly as comfortable.)
My new friends at Agnes and Norman also sent me two other beautiful styles,
that I can not wait to share with you guys in upcoming posts!

You may have also heard of their branch off bridal collection, Rachel Simpson before.
They carry some of Rachel's beautiful pairs on BHLDN, & I'm totally thinking of them for my
big day coming up! I highly suggest checking out A&N & Rachel Simpson for some
quality shoes with a nod to the past, that you know will definitely stand out on the SoHo streets.

Statement Making Collar Play

Wednesday, July 1, 2015

New York weather can be so tricky sometimes.. Does this not look like it could be a fall look?!
Oh well, I was comfortable in the late spring chill & that's all that matters. Nicole & I had
some time to kill before the NYLON music issue party at TAO a few weeks ago,
so we shaped a few pics. I just hadddd to wear some NYLON Shop to our party, of course!

I'm in loveee with the shape of this "Deschanel" dress. It has such a great bounce & flow
to it when you walk. I added this awesome statement necklace, that I found at
a flea market the week before. It's such a bold piece, that I have to think twice
about what to wear it with. It is actually a little longer, so I just pinned it up a bit.
I love how that little trick helps it lays perfectly under the collar. I've actually been doing
that trick a lot lately, with some of my favorite necklaces to change it up!

What I'm Wearing:
Rhythm Dress ℅ Nylon Shop | Zara Moto jacket
Tights ℅ Hanes Hosiery  | Miss Selfridge Hat
Justin Boots | Vintage Necklace
