 Time traveling back to when I didn't mind the cold so much,

because the streets were filled with Christmas lights & holiday cheer.

Missing this cozy weekend spent holiday shopping in Rhinebeck, NY the day of their

tree lighting ceremony. How did it go by so fast?! After spending the past few winters in

San Francscio, I am now spoiled. I'm still not broken into my old, bitter, New York winter self.

No doubt, this will take more than some getting used to again.

Needless to say, I'm ecstatic that it's almost over…

From Woodstock, With Love..

 

The one thing I have the most trouble with when it comes to the changing of seasons,

is the letting go  of street fairs & flea markets. Every weekend guaranteed, you can find me at one

treasure hunting my heart out! One of my favorite flea markets since I was a little girl

is in Woodstock, NY.  Currently a pile of snow is occupying the lot, that is usually full of history & trinkets.

These photo's are from the last Woodstock flea market of 2013,

where my sister & I somberly said our goodbye's, as we patiently wait for May...

Grungeday Funday

 

I am the most comfortable when I am in my 90's element.

I mean how can you not be cozy in a ripped up vintage band tee & a Kurt Cobain-esque cardigan?!

I am also in love with these Blank NYC pants! Not only are they crazy comfotable,

but the zipper detail adds the perfect accent to a look like this.

Sometimes all you need to "grunge up" an outfit are some chunky boots & a black velvet choker.

If you can let your hair grow out for about 5 months, well that helps too. (haha)

Aztec calendar countdown to summer..

 Hello loves! This nasty weather we are having on the east coast,

has me thinking of how much I miss the simple transition from summer to fall.

Days where you start out wearing a light flowey maxi dress, & run into nights where all you

need is a cropped moto jacket to keep the chill out. This Sophie Aztec Tassle Biker Jacket 

that I received from Boohoo Boutique was perfect for such an occasion.

Guess I'll daydream back to this perfect late summer day & ignore the snow currently blanketing the city..
